Mary Neal has been an associate attorney at Helm and Wagner since March 2015. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of Civil litigation involving insurance coverage issues and business disputes.

Mary was born and raised in Michigan. She attended Central Michigan University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in 1986 and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing MI., in 1990.

Mary began her litigation career as an associate at the firm of Hayman and Kirshenbum representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Several years later, Mary was in-house counsel for State Farm Insurance Company, representing and defending insured clients at trial and arbitration. Mary has continued to represent both Plaintiffs and Defendants in various matters including personal injury, insurance claims, commercial litigation and contract disputes. Mary has tried civil jury trials to verdict in Cook and collar counties and has represented many clients in bench trials and arbitration.
